The bar chart below shows the results of a survey conducted by a personnel department at a major company. The survey was carried out on two groups of workers: those aged from 18-30 and those aged 45-60, and shows factors affecting their work performance.

The provided horizontal bar graph depicts the conclusions derived from research carried out by a personnel department at a prestigious company among employees of two age groups, 18-30 and 45-60 displaying multiple factors that impact their work performance.

Overall, it is evident that in both age groups personal development and money had a significant impact on job performance. However, the environment at workplace had the least impact on their efficiency to do work.

To begin with, in the age group of 18-30 years, the biggest driving force for working effectively was the possibility of personal development, accounted to 100 employees. It was followed by the number of employees who were motivated by a relaxed work environment and opportunities for promotion with 80 in count. However, the count of workers who considered team spirit, competent supervisor, job security and respect for colleagues and work environment constituted to be 70, 55, 40 and 30 respectively.

Examining further, the second age category of people between 45 and 60 showed varied results as compared to the first category. About 70 workers were influenced by monetary gains. Teamwork motivated 60 employees, whereas competent leadership influenced 55 workers in the department. Interestingly, equal number of workers were influenced by promotional opportunities and job satisfaction and the value reported to be 50. The professional decorum affected the least number of employees.
