The provided bar graphs depict the information about the buying patterns of audio albums in the United Kingdom, segregated by gender category and age.
In an overview, it is clear that majority of people prefer buying pop and rock music, while classical music sales are lower in contrast with pop and rock genres.
To commence with, the compilation of pop and rock songs is being purchased increasingly in the age group of 25-34, which accounts to be near about 31%, while classical music buyers are recorded to be half of this. Interestingly, the individuals of age group 45+ expend a minuscule amount buying pop music and rock music, documented to be nearly 10%. However, an inverse trend was seen in case of classical music purchase as 20% of people had preference for it.
Moving further, females’ preference for audio albums surpassed that of men in all the three music categories. Surprisingly, classical music compilations are possessed by only 4% of people aged 16 to 24, and 4% of people aged 35 to 44, while pop and rock music is purchased by 25% to 30% of the same age groups.
