Sample Answer:

The two rendered maps juxtapose how an island’s structure changes and develops after various tourism amenities are established.

In an overview, the island has undergone significant transformation, with the addition of multiple new amenities in response to the growing tourism demand. The walkway area surrounding the beach, however, has not changed.

It is evident from the first map, a small beach is located on the western side of the approximately 200-meter-long island. Only a few palm trees once stood there, and the area was abandoned with no amenities or places to live.

Upon examining the second map, one can observe the construction of a restaurant, multiple lodging options, a reception area, and a bridge. There are newly constructed bike lanes and walkways that are well-connected to the administrative and residential structures on the island. The interesting thing to notice is that the island’s vegetation was preserved; no trees were taken down, and buildings were built all around the trees.
